Mar Baselios Ocean Star CBSE School Chirattakonam is an Educational Institution of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, under the Malankara Catholic Educational Society. It is situated at Kottarakara Taluk in Kollam District. This school is the dream center point of all children in the village. It gives a new light of knowledge in and around the school. This school is established with a special purpose that is to provide new awareness about quality education among the villagers and students as they are getting in the city schools. This aim is being fulfilled till now . Integration, interrelations and inter culturation are the three most important divisions in the contemporary academic world. These three things are taught in our school in a special way. Education gives us knowledge - the Knowledge of this universe and it's development. It teaches us the lessons of humanity . It  creates good thoughts in human beings. Education is a practical action of life - that is, how to think, how to make decisions. This school contributes the values of human life and it's development. It helps the students to find their future carrier, to develop employability skills  and  their identity . Our School gives proper education according to the talents of the students. It leads them to new innovations and discoveries. At the same time we teach discipline in their life. So let's call this institution a Centre of Excellence.
